If you want to sample food and drinks from around the world, then you have to go to the Epcot Food and Wine Festival!

This amazing experience is FREE with Epcot admission, and it gives you an opportunity to travel the world with your taste buds.

This year, it features booths from both the food & wine festival AND the flower & garden festival, so you get a combination of both festivals (how great is that?)

Because of COVID, this year’s festival has been revamped to include some old favorites as well as some new features, and I’d love to share my experiences with you!

So without further ado, let’s talk about the Epcot Food and Wine Festival!

Best of Epcot Food and Wine Festival

We got virtual guidebooks this year rather than the normal paper passports to help limit physical contact. Plus it’s much easier holding the guidebooks this way!)

During the week, you will find fewer crowds. Avoid Friday night and Saturday, as locals like to join in on the fun (and honestly, who can blame them).

Most of the booths are open at the Epcot Food and Wine Festival right now. But even more will be opening in September, so look out for that!.

They have gluten-free and vegetarian options available! Just be wary of cross-contamination since they are cooked in small kitchens (gluten-free menu items are labeled on the actual menus at each booth, but not on the virtual menu). There are some items that are gluten-free, which are not labeled, so talk to a chef if you are unsure.

The cast members are great and will help you in any way you need. That includes if you want to ask more about the food options!

All the sample-size foods are great as a small meal rather than a sit-down meal, making it fantastic for sharing! The drinks are also smaller, but a quick tip for you! For larger size drinks, head into Rose and Crown located in England.

We experienced lower crowds than normal at the Epcot Food and Wine Festival, which was so nice. October and November are often some of the most crowded times. Therefore, if you always wanted to check out the food and wine festival, now is a great time to go!

I ate several delicious foods “around the world” during the Epcot Food and Wine Festival. The food I ate (which was all gluten-free) included:

  • Brazil – Cheese Bread
  • Canada – Filet Mignon
  • Citrus Blossom – Crispy Chicken

It was the perfect smaller meal after my big breakfast at Topolino’s!

All in all…

I LOVED the Epcot Food and Wine Festival experience! It’s always an amazing time walking around World Showcase while enjoying delicacies from around the world!

Now is the perfect time to go enjoy this festival! That’s because there are fewer people and several new features that really enhance this festival’s appeal!
